Tabards of this type were a common site during the Middle Ages and serve as excellent garb on their own or as a great accent to an existing kit. Tabards are light, sleeveless garment open at the sides and intended to be worn over a shirt or tunic and is generally belted closed. Our tabards are divided at the front and back to add style and allow for better flow while moving.
The sizing for tabards is based on the width across the top of the shoulders and the desired length from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the hem. You can easily measure this with a cloth tape measure, or just guess and add a few inches. Historically the typical length of a tabard was to mid-thigh or just above the knee.
Our tabards are constructed from linen blend or cotton blend fabric with durable seams and stitching. Machine washable and dryer safe.
Available in solid, quartered, and half-and-half styles.
